Fall 2023 Publication
We are proud to present our 7th publication, which reflects the dynamic landscape of the current economic climate. A huge thank you to the executive board, sector analysts, and associates for contributing to another rewarding semester! As usual, we cannot wait to continue to see how Cornell Equity Research will continue to grow!
Spring 2023 Publication
We are thrilled to present our 6th publication, marking another milestone in our journey. This semester, we have expanded our coverage by introducing ESG as a new sector in our report, reflecting the growing global interest in this area. As this is also the last publication for many of our founding members, we would like to extend a heartfelt shoutout to them for all their guidance and dedication towards CER. We hope you find the insights and analyses within this report both informative and engaging. Enjoy!
Fall 2022 Publication
We are pleased to present our Fall 2022 publication. This semester, our organization has grown to encompass 49 members, with individuals representing each of the colleges on Cornell University’s campus. During our fourth year on campus, we have seen the organization flourish as students take initiative and find their roles in the organization. We are proud of each student's dedication and enthusiasm that is evident from their work. Please enjoy our publication below; we recommend that you read this on a laptop or desktop for your best reading experience.
Spring 2022 Publication
Below is our fourth publication! Centered around the aftermath of Covid-19 and rising inflation, our club took a deep dive into several companies within many different sectors. Please enjoy this publication filled with comics to make the our buy/sell/hold recommendations even more interesting. For the best viewing experience, we recommend reading this on a desktop.
Fall 2021 Publication
Below is our third publication for our club! Still focused on COVID-19, our 45 members worked hard to produce a publication focusing on the effects of the pandemic on the stock market. This semester, we introduced our “Meme Stocks” sector after the focus on these types of investments became mainstream in the media. Our members learned a ton in the process of making this and we are proud to share it with you all.
Spring 2021 Publication
As the world begins to recover from the effects of COVID-19, our analysts quickly adapted and used their equity research skills to help us successfully create our Spring 2021 Publication. With our organization, continuing to grow, we are proud to see all our members take time and effort to grow their own abilities, and ensure that we are creating high-quality content for our readers. Thanks to the efforts of our executive board, we are proud to present Cornell Equity Research’s Spring 2021 Publication. We recommend that you read this on a laptop or desktop for your best reading experience.
Fall 2020 Publication
During the summer of 2019, Alex Chowdhury ‘20 and Josué Sanchez ‘20 envisioned a club that would provide Cornell undergraduates with a undergraduate-run publication dedicated solely to finance. While working long hours at Workiva and Google, Alex and Josué, respectively, joined in on daily calls to convert their idea into reality. Fall 2019 saw a semester of rapid changes and a successful scale up. However, the precarious nature of the COVID-19 pandemic in Spring 2020 led to a quick transition into an online education-based workspace. Their efforts, alongside those placed forth by their e-board and charter-associates, materialized in the Fall 2020 publication we have below.
